Trying to get the Trumpophiles to face the truth is like trying to force like poles of a magnet together.  The resistance is strong.

Agreed. They are repulsive!

As posted in another thread...........

The US Constitution..."The House of Representatives ... shall have the sole Power of Impeachment." ~ Article I, Section 2, Clause 5.

"Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings" ~ Article 1 Section 5.

Pelosi is keeping her cards close to her chest. Even if she put this up to a vote Trumpet and his minions still would not cooperate. This way they have more time to keep digging up evidence and not allowing the chosen one to discredit what he can't see with his relentless goofy tweets meant to take our eyes off the ball.

The corruption and dark money fueling the traitors admin will soon be exposed for all to see in its naked glory. The doctored tax returns that limit his property values for tax purposes while inflating their values for the bankers is in black and white for all of us to see now. No wonder he fought so hard not to show them.

As a side note, I read an old piece stating that it turns out that Trumpet is really the biggest loser. His tax returns from '85-'94 showed he lost more money than any other American.

When they have their ducks lined up they will vote. Then Moscow Mitch will run interfenence in the Senate and finally the double-digit IQ fraud will get voted out in 2020 because enough people have tired of his relentless ****.

The end.

Why do you think he can't see what's being said?  Remember, despite their inability to subpoena their own witnesses (thanks Pelosi), there are Republicans on each of the committees holding illegal interviews.  The information is going back to the White House.

The interviews are legal. Investigations into alleged criminal conduct are not done in public.

True, the GOP is present and has cross-examined witnesses but by not allowing the admin to subpoena witnesses they are kept in the dark about certain facts and strategies. Plus this keeps the whistleblowers indentities unknown and unintimidated by threats.

This goes deeper than the Ukraine. Pelosi claims all the way to Russia. I believe she wants to get all the ducks in a row. And unlike Meuller, not have her hands tied before she even started.

Pelosi would be an idiot to bring up a 2 1/2 year $100M investigation that found no collusion.  She even specifically instructed her henchmen committees to only investigate the Ukranian issue.  She's a sneaky and underhanded hag, but she's not dumb.

I'm fairly certain the administration is getting the equivalent of a transcript of every interview.  The only thing that Pelosi not voting for an inquiry does is disallow the Republicans from investigating the actual circumstances and reasoning for Trump's actions.  They have no way of knowing whether Trump's call for an investigation was warranted.

This sounds really familiar, kind of like Nunes sneaking to the WH after dark telling donald everything that he was being investigated for ?? Undecided

I think the Republicans are gun shy about impeachment and would be more cautious. There were Democrats clamoring for impeachment before power even transferred to Trump. It remains to be seen if the Democrats can sell it.

If they had the votes in the bag, and they knew for sure they had the goods on Trump, they would have already voted.  Why isn't their whistleblower testifying?   Even with a voice changer and his face blurred out?   What are they afraid of?   And why did the whistleblower laws need to be modified days before this one blew the whistle?   Before this incident a whistleblower always needed to have direct, firsthand knowledge of the supposed crime.

This one had no direct knowledge but somehow produced a lenghty report that looks like a team of lawyers put it together.    And he met with Adam Schiff well beforehand and Schiff was caught in a lie over the timeline.   The actual transcript was released and it contradicts the report, and so does the Ukranian President.

And if the call was such a dire threat to the country, then how can the House not only not vote, but take a 2 week recess with a supposed criminal President sitting in office?

Just hang on, your questions will be answered, Pelosi isn't going to rush into anything until she has the goods on donald and his crooks he has working for him... As for the Whistleblowers, Shiff said there is so much evidence coming in from the people that have been called in to testify, he said they might not even need to expose or interview the Whistleblower ... The House is doing everything by the letter and is doing the best to keep the Whistleblower's life safe, donald is a man that is coming unhinged, he's scary, no one knows what he will do, it's better to be on the safe side...
