I hear ya, but that can;t happen. What I put in up there can, ^ and should But that can't happen either due to injury and roster space but it should.

No I mean the Luke Voit that can do exactly what Hicks and Stanton can do. Run into one once in a blue moon and take his walks when he has to. THAT LUKE Voit. The one that "Lenghtens" the lineup like Stanton and Hicks supposedly do while they strike out or make outs killing rally after rally. lol. The Luke Voit that puts Didi on the Bench with his .143 average and his pop ups on first pitches with men on base today 3 times. That Didi, not the one that ran into a meatball and hit a Granny. People only rememeber Didi's smile and his great personality and Grannys and forget about his miscues at SS and his constant rally killing. Yeah, that Luke/Ford. C'mon Dude you are a smart guy, take a look objectively at what is happening with Sanchez, Didi, Hicks, and Gardner. Did Stanton ever see Micky play with two bad knees almost his whole career? Did he see his numbers and salary? Did he watch Kirk Gibson pinch hit with a bad leg and hobble around the bases after a pinch hit homer for his TEAM? Yeah, I know, I am to old school. Well thank God for that!Wink

sorry, no to post IL voit. strikes out more a third of his at bats and wasn't running into anything. put a fork in him. your luke love and didi hate knows no bounds. in addition to running into a "meatball", didi had 2 run scoring singles, hit .400 and would have been ALDS MVP if they had such a thing. and yes he's been terrible the last 2 games.

in addition, defense is king in the post-season (as i've said to you about 30 times) so there's no way they're moving DJLM off 1st base for voit and they're not weakening their IF defense to put voit, who wasn't even hitting there. now show me you're a smart guy and drop the voit for didi thing because you're dead ass wrong ...

Edwin Encarnacion. Yep. Yanks needed offense, not starting pitching.

I will drop Voit but add Ford. What about that? Look all I know is that lineup I put up was winning. WHat we have now is not. What we ALL said about bringing back the guys that were played for with the next man up theoiry worked and that's why I posted that and looks like next man up has changed to next man out. That's what I'm getting at. So did it happen or not? Looks to me like it did. What it is now, is not what got us here. SOmething is different and that brought this change in offense seems to me.

Remember when Giancarlo Stanton was a 59hr guy and the NL MVP? He was replaced with the tin man from the Wizard of Oz. No heart.
