I want fans to feel that way.

Here's how:

DON'T ATTEND YANKEE GAMES.
DON'T BUY YANKEE MERCHANDISE.

Because this Steinbrenner doesn't care about winning. He only cares about money, and you have to hit him in the pocketbook.

I'm going to burn my Judge jersey and hang an effigy of Hal on my lawn so the kids in the neighborhood can throw rotten apples at it... that will show them!

I enjoy watching Yankee games so the logical thing to do is punish myself by not watching them anymore ...yeah I can see that working to great effect.

Totally agree with Judge.  The season was exciting, fun and definitely kept my interest high, but in the end: a failure. Why some fans have a difficult time accepting that puzzles me.

Because blaming the owner here is pushing the edge of reasonable.  They had a fairly high pay roll, got EE at the deadline and who could they have acquired that would have made a difference did they walk away from because of money?...no one except maybin Corbin at the start of the year and given the years and money and the fact that he only had one good year under his belt would have been a sizeable risk.  Greinke for all the talk at the deadline has not really impressed in the post-season.  And it is not the owner's fault one of our best SPs (German) goes and get's himself suspended before the end of the season.  What would the result have been if German could have pitched 4 or 5 Ips instead of the likes of Chad Green "opening"?...we will never know obviously.

If you want to blame someone though, blame Cashman for re-signing Happ instead of going after C. Morton.  Morton over Happ might have made a difference and Morton signed for less money than Happ (3 Yrs 15M a yr vs. 3 years and 17M a year).  Happ was so bad that he ends up not even being a viable 4th starter in their minds in the post-season.

A mural on a brick wall of Jinah would provide longer term satisfaction! All Yankee fans need to write Hal letters, millions of them!!!
