  • DJL - 1B/2B - extend 3 years not 4 or 5 like some people are saying
  • Torres - 2B/SS
  • Urshela - 3B
  • Andujar - 3B, 1B, DH  - Need his bat and low k rate in the lineup
  • Voit - DH 1B - Need to see him get another chance while healthy
  • Romine - C or C via trade
  • Judge - RF - Needs to stop looking for walks not what we need him for
  • Hicks CF - Stuck with his injury proneness - Solid player when healthy
  • Tauchman - LF - he was a great player for a few months ... much better than Gardner

  • Signing Cole is not an option it is a necessity. Yankees will win Multiple WS over the next 5 years with Cole

  • Gardner - Bye Bye! Your best is not good enough. Playoff choke artist
  • Encarcion - Bye! Part of the problem not the solution
  • Stanton - Trade (eat as much as you have to up tp 100%) or Release him - has more value to us on another team.
  • Sanchez - I've seen enough ... Could be one of the most dangerouse hitters in basball but mentally weak and cant stay in shape so I wouldn't mind if he was traded for i.e. Syndergard or equivlent SP.
  • Didi - Let him walk

I agree 100%.  Andujar is a much better offensive option than Stanton or Sanchez.  The Yankees won most of their 103 games this season when the strikeout guys were out injured.  The replacements kept rallies going.  Romine way outplayed Sanchez, but did not get into any of the playoff games, so he will probably leave.

So, catcher needs to be worked out but I doubt they will deal Sanchez.  I am hoping they deal Stanton to clear the payroll to pursue Cole.  Let Betances go, let Gardner go, if Chapman opts out let him go, bye bye CC, see ya EE, we will still have a great team.

So Stanton 's no-trade clause can be circumvented, when did that happen?

It didn't.  It's just the myopia of the fantasy league GMs here that a NTC is never an obstacle to thier fantasies.  Stanton isn't going anywhere he doesn't want to as Jeter found out the hard way.  And given his age nad injury hstory potential trade partners are probably limited to the DH league.

Gio is our 3B with DJ backing up. Andujar is a liability in the field. This team just can't afford anymore slugging none offensive players.

I think he meant "slugging no defense"

But he is right, Urshela should go into spring training as the starting 3B unless they put Lemahieu there.  Urshela made plays virtually every game he played that Andujar doesn't make even in his dreams.
