Bloomberg is lurking...

And unlike some of the Dem candidates Trump can't criticize Bloomberg for his stop and frisk policy because Trump supports that policy. Bloomberg has since then gone on to say that the policy was a mistake.

In my opinion, it's too early to tell until the S. Carolina primary and Super Tuesday. But so far it looks like a lot of moderates are voting for Mayor Pete instead of Biden and Amy K.

how is Mayor Pete going to work with the Middle East if he becomes President?  The Middle East kills gay people.

They also treat women like they are second class citizens but they have in the past worked with US Secretaries of State, US UN Ambassadors, and other world leaders who happen to be women. They have also met with US officials that are of the Jewish faith. In short, they will work with whomever the US President is because they need to US more than the US needs them. It also shouldn't be an issue because Middle Eastern bigotry shouldn't dictate who Americans vote for.

I agree with you on this statement.  We shouldn't be catering to the views of others in other places.  I don't feel Pete is anywhere near the most qualified candidate overall or in the Democratic field, but it's his record that concerns me, not who he shares his bed with.

Another homogenous State not representative of the general electorant.  Nevertheless I see Sanders winning in New Hampshire. Trump and his surrogates will wreck havoc in Nevada where DEMs caucus is not limited to DEMs.  GOPs will be heading to the polls to sabotage Biden insuring he will not be Trump's opponent. Thus this will create a crack open for Bloomberg to make his push.  Trump should be careful what he wish for.....

Bernie won NH in 2016 but it was against a terrible candidate in Hillary.  I honestly think that Bernie has moved too far left for New Hampshire to support him.  I think New Hampshirites look across the border and see a land of ridiculously high taxes where they don't get a lot more over in Vermont and realize that Montpelier is acting in Bernie's image.  They've always been for small government up there and Bernie doesn't fit that bill.

In the latest exclusive WBZ/Boston Globe/Suffolk University poll, Pete Buttigieg continues his remarkable post-Iowa surge.

Bernie Sanders is holding steady at 24 percent, but Buttigieg is up four points over last night with 23 percent, a virtual tie in a survey with a margin of error of 4.4 percent.

Elizabeth Warren takes over third place with 13 percent, and...

...Joe Biden slips to fourth with 11 percent.

Biden came out to the debate Friday loaded for bear. Undoubtedly his team told him he had to appear strong. Unfortunately for Joe, he just doesn't have it. He tried to claim sole responsibility for democratic Supreme Court justices because he's been in the Senate so damn long he has a few yes votes. He quoted Bill's that he cosponsored and couldn't get passed which basically says he's ineffective.

He refused to attack Bernie when Bernie left the door open. He said only he could bring coattails to Minnesota while Amy laughed.

This may actually have been Biden's last stand. I really thought he was going to take out Bernie tonight and he failed.

In other news, Bernie has set the internet abuzz doubling down on eliminating cash bail despite the well publicized dreadful law in NY. This is going to cost him big time. Similarly, Tom Steyer hung his hat on reparations, leaving him to be out of legitimate options for votes. Warren apparently thinks rich people can't run for office (but she has no problem deciding what to do with their money), which I'm sure will turn some votes.

The only winners tonight... Amy and Mayor Pete.

That terrible candidate received almost 66 million votes and won the popular vote by almost 3 million votes. Sheesh.
