I'm starting to wonder how much they really uncovered vs what they chose to bury. Did they learn of the buzzer method and realize that some star players ,managers etc would face lifetime banishment if it came out. We can only speculate but I'm not so naive as to believe that when the banging and whistling came to light they stopped cheating. If they are going to let these cheaters keep their trophy, rings and MVP trophy then let's put Pete,Shoeless Joe and a few others in the HOF .

Thank you.... I agree 1000%!
I believe Manfred is just trying to sweep the dirt under the carpet. There's a lot more to this scandal and if MLB thinks the fans are going to sit quietly and let this go they've got another thing coming.
Starting with the Red Sox investigation?

I think Manfred very much underestimated the fan reaction to the Astros behavior. He is selling us gimmicks and reality television when baseball fans want a game with integrity. This happened on his watch.

That's the truth... Manfred should be investigated for a cover up. Boone said yesterday he's not convinced the Astros (Altuve) wasn't wearing a buzzer. It appears Manfred is more interested in making this go away then letting more come out. Integrity.... sad to say... there is no integrity in Baseball

Manfred should be canned first, then investigated. He's a JOKE.

The problem is, Manfred works for the owners, and sweeping the scandal under the rug is what the owners want (before it gets so deep that it affects attendence during the regular season, which may be happening anyway). Bottom line, it's a game run by the owners. They set the rules, and the commissioner is nothing but a puppet, who repeats what the owners want to be said. Sadly, you're right, there is no integrity in baseball anymore. Looking as far back as the 1919 Black Sox scandal, we have to wonder, was there ever integrity in the game, or did we fans just fantasize it to keep that American dream alive? Who knows what other baseball scandals have been swept under the rug throughout major league history!
