cody belanger's comments poured gasoline on the whole thing. flat out said altuve stole the mvp from judge and that the astros stole the championship from the dodgers, pointed out how ridiculous crane's comments were and altuve thinking about his shirt at a time like that. gonna be a real interesting season.

Apologize? As reported...

As Dave Roberts was done talking about what might or might not have occurred three World Series ago, and he was ready to move on with the 2020 season. "Our story," Roberts said, "is moving forward."

The Dodgers players are still fuming ...

As reported... Cody Bellinger, one of the game's brightest young stars, went scorched earth on the Astros, saying Jose Altuve "stole" the 2017 MVP from Aaron Judge and that he "lost respect" for that team.

Same can be said as Boone is ready to move forward. It seems many of his players are still annoyed of what could be the possibility of a championship season. As Sanchez recently said about Altuve and ripped Jersey...if he delivered the run to win, he would be so elated that he wouldn't care if his team mates ripped his pants off.

Plain and simple, that 2017 World Series needs to be vacated. Not just that, but so should the 2017 MVP Award.

To this very day, this picture bothers me....

Look at them so smug and arrogant. This was a total mock on the Yankees and their "thumbs down" rally cry, when all along......THEY CHEATED.

MLB has to realize.....

THIS IS NOT GOING TO STOP. THE CHEATING AT THIS LEVEL IS GOING TO CONTINUE.

As for this ("shy") guy,....

is an F'n LOSER. Is he really that good? HE'S NOT A CHAMPION. HE'S NOT AN MVP.

Not only should the MLB vacate the 2017 title, but they should also do an investigation on the 2019 season to possibly vacate the AL title as well.

MLB has to do something. If they have evidence that Jose Altuve and his Astros used (illegal) electronic equipment to beat and defeat their opponent for a CHAMPIONSHIP....how can they not punish them?

To be honest, they better do something, because there is gonnna be lawsuits. Some will, perhaps, be more highly visible then others, but that negative attention is going to make the game look BAD and make Manifred look even worse, because he would have nothing substantial about it. Putting a monetary penalty on the players is not going to do anything. So what?

As for Yankee fans, they should never let this go. The Yankee fans, at the Stadium, should let the Astros know each and everytime they come to New York, especially Altuve and Bregman and Verlander. The noise that should come out of this, should be so strong, that the news of it will travel beyond the sports media, but to the national and worldwide, as well.

What gets me is I never liked Altuve from the first time I heard him talk on camera. I also always suspected him of using PED's. Now for sure I personally think he did. If he di what he did, cheat and possibly wear a buzzer that tells me that he would do anything to try and win and be a star player.  Wouldn't surprise me at all if he goes on the IL this season being hit by a pitch or slid into at 2nd base and taken out. Back in the day if he cheated a pitcher he would have been totaled immediately, one way or another. Deservedly so IMO.

Cody Belingers coments even more scathing as he's convinced the Astros have been cheating for the past 3 years. Altuves reaction after hitting the game winning hr off Chapman that sends your team to the WS was not normal. No player in that moment would think to run into the tunnel to change his shirt. I was stunned to hear the comments coming from the players. They're just as angry as the fans.

I agree 1000%... Vacate the WS there's no reason that can't  be done.

I'm getting a sinking feeling MLB doesn't want any more dirt uncovered. Nothings happened to the Red Sox and clearly somthing was going on with Altuve and his Jersey.

Trust me... Yankee fans at the stadium will not forget, even though Astros wont play there until the end of September. I saw tickets for those game were half price for a couple of the games... it should be a full house of rabid fans... I'm sure baseball fans across the nation are ****ed. It's going to be long season for the Astros. ****s!

Notice how not One of those cowards who gave their phony apology, never ever used the word Cheating.
MLB needs a man like Kenesaw Mountain Landis who made the White Sox and 8 men out accountable.
This is not going away, and we fans will let them know how we feel. Start printing the signs and banners with the word:

CHEATERS
Willie, Mickey and the Duke, Now That Was Baseball in NY.

THE ORIGINAL SIX IN THE NHL, OLD TIME HOCKEY,

THE WAY THE GAME WAS MEANT TO BE PLAYED:

LETS GO RANGERS. LETS GO YANKEES

I think opening day MLB should allow John Wick to face Altuve in his first at bat. That ought to take care of it.Wink

I think he's one of those people who doesn't realize he's cheating when he doing it--except at the very last moment when he's (i.e., his shirt's) about to be exposed for doing so. Your characterization of him the other day as having a small mind sounds right to me, chi.

Every time someone from the Astros says something it just makes the situation worse. Manfred should order the entire organization to shut up...and then he should put the same restraints on himself. This whole mess is a dsigrace...but the way it has been handled is even worse.

There is no reason every team in MLB shouldn't be exploring ways to cheat. Maybe do a fan give away of those laser pointers for in game use.  How about  speakers in the visitors' dugout to provide 150 decibels of fan reaction ?  And there is always pepper spray in the visitors' clubhouse to make the game a little more honest. I wonder if Manfred might man up and stop any of that ? Probably not.

Man up Manfred and tell the Astros to pull down the banner.
