Let the struggling working stiffs eat dirt as industries pop open another bottle of Veuve Clicquot.

At the same time, we need to support business to save the economy. Indeed there is a lack of trust for government to execute proceedings going forward.  Industry stock buy back has fueled the lack of trust with greed abounds...as industries are focused in lining their pockets any which way possible.

Frustrating, it's catch-22..As angry as we must be with stock buy backs,  if we don't save companies, there won't  be any jobs. That's the sad truth.....a balance needs to come to the table with restrictions of stock buybacks. Like it or not it's a symbiosis arrangement with mutual benefits.

1) New way to identify cynical political opportunists: Anyone using the term "corporate slush fund" or "bailout." Slush funds are when Washington gives companies cash to spend on bogus priorities. Bailouts are what happens when companies mismanage, and ask Washington to fix it

It's pretty hard to call what is literally in black and white in the Dem proposal a lie.   Even in a comic book or beyond.

A gif with some text on it won't make their proposal look any better - there's not enough lipstick on earth to make that pig look pretty.

Like Lying Donnie, you can't help yourself. you have to lie.

Right, quoting the literal text of their proposal is a "lie".

Your skill at propaganda gets worse every day.   I guess desperation and being dealt a bad set of facts can do that.

While you're wondering if you're about to lose your job if your company goes under, how you're going to put food on the table in 2 weeks... This is the Democratic Party's priorities: an ever growing wish list. Bill is now 1,400 PAGES!

Right-wing socialists are selling more trickle-down BS.  Trickle-down economics is really bad for the economy, but it is GREAT at redistributing wealth to the rich.

We're talking about a relief bill for an unprecedented health crisis that would pay $$ directly to every man woman and child in the country who makes less than $75k a year.

No trickle down, it is money directly in to the hands of American families in a time of crisis.

“He Can’t Make Any Big Decisions”: As the Crisis Escalates, Trump Experiments With a Pivot

With his “wartime president” posture failing to stop the slide and his presidency in the balance, Trump toys with reopening the economy early.

Because of the greed of some, trickle down economics is a myth. Speaking of the economy, the problem he speaks of is that the coronavirus is killing people and making some others sick. The whole point of closing some of the economy is to limit the effect of the coronavirus on the public, because without a healthy nation it doesn't matter if the economy or the stock market is good or bad.

And another Great Depression will also have an effect on the health of the public.

Not many are at extreme risk, and those who aren't need to be allowed to get back to work already.
