What about Chapman's performance has you worried then?

Explain how him being too jacked has hurt him in his career so far.

It's sad that my first reaction to this photo was "hmm not much social distancing happening here." I miss baseball....

Amazing to me that in a game that requires flexability, these guys just continue to pump up as if they are preparing for a body builder competition. I just can't understand it

It's foolish for these guys to spend so much time on weights when flexibility is much more important. So many of these injuries could be avoided by increasing stretching exercises and decreasing weight training.

He looks great, but again, lifting to me for a pitcher or any player really, to that extreme is, well, extreme and leads to injury's IMO. BTW, ever notice the thing almost all Yankee players can't wait to do when it is off season, or when they have time off, is grow vegitation of all types on their mugs? lol.. It's 2020, man lighten up Hal, to me, a close trimmed beard or facial hair is no longer considered "not socially accpetable" IMO.

you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

1- Hes never been this jacked at any point in his career

2- For a pitcher no one has ever had the arms he currently has why? As orhers have mentioned flexibility for a pitcher is way more important than having brute strength that causes the exact opposite effect of flexibility and loose arm.

Anyway its just a concern because i have never seen a pitcher have the arms he currently has. Maybe it will work i dont know. Maybe he starts gunning 105 MPH again idk but if no pitcher has ever attwmpted it aka getting that "im planning on hitting 50 homers this season body" there could be a reason why.
