It's official.
Even if it happens, it's going to be hard for me to care. I certainly won't count this season as real major league baseball. Any records that occur deserve an enlarged asterisk forever, imo. At least, let's hope the players stay safe, most of them anyway.

Maybe someone will hit over .400, but no counting records are going to be broken.

agree. records will be meaninglesss and the season will deserve a huge asterisk but i will watch and root for us to win #28 even if it'll be a bit tainted. guess the good news for us is that most of the team other than severino will now be healthy. not sure how they'll make out the schedule. guess luck of the draw and yeah the biggest concern is that players stay safe.

60 games? Wins and loses to get into playoff will be magnified. Where every game will be significant. A poor start might sink your chances for playoffs. As reported only radio broadcasters will travel. Home games will have guys in the booth. Away games will have broadcasting from home. Sterling and Suzyn traveling? For sure any Covid-19 outbreak will put a stoppage for this truncated season.
