Can't make a judgment on one intra squad game but boy did Andujar look terrible in right field last night. I still hope he gets more reps at 1st base

He was playing that tough right field sun and misjudged a couple of balls. I'm not sure he's suited for the outfield, I think some first base, third base and DH suits him better. Besides, they have a ton of outfielders.

Yeah, that's my take on it Luv plus I'm still not sold on Voit or Ford

Hey New, how you doin?   Just want to add that Voit showed up to camp 13 pounds lighter and is moving around the mound a lot better.  That according to the Yankees infield coach, who was praising his work around the bag, and it was also reported by MLB Network. I think Andujar will be a "starting rover" if there is such a thing. IMO He will most likely back up in RF, and 3rd base and 1st base and DH. That gives him plenty of AB's and if he stays healthy for 60 games that should determine where he is slotted in for next season. Just my take on it.

you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

In some respects RF is the most difficult OF position to play. Putting your "worst" defensive player in RF may work in Little League, but not at this level. Judge, for example, is an excellent athlete. I'm not confident Andujar can handle LF either, especially in YS. I won't give up on him being able to play some OF, but 1B seems to be the logical place for him.

Doing good chi. Yeah I saw how much lighter Voit looked.

As I said I sure get that it's only spring training and that sun in the beginning of the game was brutal. I just thought he looked very unsteady out there. It's early but in a short 60 game season every game counts. Not much time for a learning curve.

I'm with you in that the short season should make every game important and should add to the excitment. Hope they can get it off the ground

He certainly is a question mark in the outfield and not much going for him at 3rd. He's so young to be a stick without a position. Perhaps he gets enough at bats to re establish his trade value.

Right field angles are way different than left field. It requires adjustment.
