They have inspectors coming in to make sure this is enforced. He's gone way overboard.

It's not unique to NY...same is going on here, a Red state run by a Republican governor & legislature. Not a good time to be in the bar/restaurant business.

No it isn't. A few closed and aren't coming back. He did this because of a few isolated cases. Now the whole state has to pay.

Want a do over? Feel a little stupid? Doubt it.  Now if you listen to them you can see Trump will get past any dislike if help is needed. He will try to to the right thing but attack him he attacks back.  While they were praising him there was no doubt in my mind they will stab him in the back to win an election. They got what they wanted and more then they needed but it's already forgotten.

Putin Putin Putin. Still wishing for that Russian collusion BS but no interest in the criminal conspiracy that took place to undermine his Presidency. You want a real scandal it's there but you libs don't have any interest when it's your party doing the dirty deed.

Trump did that after his lack of preparation and after he told Governors that they are on their own which cause the Governors to have a bidding war on PPEs and other equipment which raised the prices.

About Putin, it's all in the Mueller report to read. There was unreported contact with Russians and there were examples of Obstruction of Justice. I even posted the report along with what pages and paragraphs that showed the examples I just mentioned. As I expected, the links were ignored and not addressed.

Max YOF said he didn't help, he did. Trump was left with no PPE by Obamas admin. Yes he had 3 years to replace it but he got them what they needed. If your going to knock Trump can we send a few to a Cuomo for sending the ederly back to nursing home with covid. We mention dictators we should look to Cuomo who is now telling people what they have to eat when the go to a bar reasturant. Wings no good. Has to be something of substance. This guy is unreal.

Max Mueller didn't even know The DNC and Clinton paid for the Steele dossier who's source was a Russian.I guess that doesn't count.  I look forward to him testifying again as much more information comes out about the corruption involved that resulted in this investigation. He was lost the last time he testified.I see him looking extremely bad this time. Actually feel sorry for him. He wasn't running the show and his best days are way behind him but he took the job. They should call that low life Weissman in.

Trump claims he was left with no PPEs, others have said there were PPEs. As you said, if there weren't PPEs Trump had three years to fill the PPE cabinet. He shouldn't have told governors that they were on their own. The nursing home issue was already addressed. NHs in NY state don't have to take infections patients if they feel that they can't care for them, for example if they can't isolate them.

Are you really going to compare what Trump did in Portland to Cuomo requiring food to be ordered with drinks? He's allowing outdoor dining not outdoor bars, because he's trying to avoid a second wave of covid-19. Things have gotten better in NY, but there's still 600-800 new cases of covid-19 being reported a day. I didn't mention the Steel Dossier, there were plenty of findings in the Mueller report without counting the Steele Dossier.

He's making all reasturants jump through hoops instead of addressing the few who are ignoring social distancing. Cuomo also goes to Georgia and is doing his meet a greets without wearing a mask. Do as I say not as I do.I have no problem what Trump is doing in Portland. They are Federal buildings under attack. Are you defending that?

What do you mean nursiong homes were addressed? They made nursing homes take patients who had covid back in them. People died.

Meeting with a mayor without a mask for a few seconds is supposed to equate with 1000's of people drinking in a crowd? Cuomo's rule is supposed to equate with Trump sending in a Force that wasn't invited to a state? Come on.

No Food? No Booze. Cuomo Cracks Down on Outdoor Drinking at Bars.

The new rules are meant to reduce crowds outside bars and restaurants and to head off a second coronavirus wave, the governor said.

Some had fun with it but the Governor caught on to require at least a sandwich to enjoy an adult beverage out.

 LOL. Heard about that.
Some owners are afraid of getting closed down.In some places as soon as you finish your food and try to order a drink they make you order food again. Even if your 6 feet apart you can't even shoot the breeze. If your at risk or ederly stay home. People have been cooped up. Have done what was asked. Let them live a little if the curve has flattened.

Cuomo garnered enough respect for the public to follow his lead In bringing down the curve. Yeah a vital business is important but a life takes presidence over money. What good Is making oodles if your 6 feet under?

As the majority of our country is on fire, I think Cuomo did an admirable job analyzing data and taking advice from medical experts to formulate a plan in reducing the rate of infection. His strategy enabled him to maintains a low infection rate.

Yeah mistakes is part of trying to get it right. Compared to what other governors has done in following Trump's lead. It's nothing short of disaster.

You might have disdain for him, but on the whole I give him lots of credit for handling Covid-19. Numbers don't lie, the number of fatalities has dramatically come to a halt as many States are on fire. I'll exchange the ability to have a drink to safe a life any day of the week.

Stay home if your at risk or elderly. Do social distancing seriously, take action against those businesses who don't but let people live if the curve has flattened . He had to shut things down because NY had it the worst of any State. The most deaths by a lot. Other states didn't have that issue till now. Now he takes laps like some hero while ignoring all those seniors killed because he sent covid patients back to nursing homes. Big mistake, excuses for him made but he gets a pass while anything Trump has done, pro gets ignored while all you hear is the negatives. Case in point your post

If you actually read my post I acknowledged his mistakes. Recognizing you are going to highlight it on your response. Elderly don't live in a bubble. They socialize with various family members. At least that's the case for most families. In that socialization exposure to careless members can be detrimental.

Your response also points to your disdain for our governor. It seems what he has accomplished is trival by your estimation. Compared that to Trump and some governors as situation has taken a negative turn... I'm guessing you cannot find in yourself to give him an ounce of credit.

Yet Trump who thinks Covid-19 will miraculously disappear without a plan outside of some questionable intervention is worthy of your admiration. A president who's only concern that "his" voters in red states remains viable enough prior to election day to cast a ballot for him...and to hell with everyone else's safety. And you have problems with Cuomo?Foot in Mouth

Cuomo after his disaster with the elderly sending them back from hospitals to nursing homes to infect others, nice spin by you has done better with the the help of the President. He gave him everything he asked for and more. Hospital beds in the Javits Center put up in days. More ventilators then they could use.He sent the UUS Comfort sent to NYC. Was that good? Can you say it?

They made mistakes and have done other things well in the response of course you wont give Trump any credit at all while even Cuomo could.

Cuomo Praises Trump's Response to the Wuhan Coronavirus: 'Phenomenal Accomplishment'

New York Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo was asked on Sunday whether or not he has faith in President Trump when it comes to handling the Wuhan coronavirus. Gov. Cuomo made it clear that he not only trusts the president but that what Trump and his administration have done was nothing short of a "phenomenal accomplishment."

"What the federal government did working with states was a phenomenal accomplishment," the governor marveled. "We bent the curve. We flattened the curve. Government did it. People did it, but government facilitates people's actions, right?"

Gov. Cuomo has consistently praised the president for helping New Yorkers while the state quickly emerged as an international hotspot of the Wuhan coronavirus. Only on the issue of ventilators, when Gov. Cuomo anticipated New York would need some 40,000 ventilators, were the president and the governor at odds. Trump expected the actual number of ventilators New York needed to be much lower, and Trump was right. Instead of 40,000 ventilators, New York needed about 5,000. The state now has so many ventilators they have begun sending them to other states.

"We had to double the hospital capacity in New York State," Gov. Cumo recalled on Sunday. "That's what all the experts said. The president brought in the Army Corps of Engineers. They built 2,500 at Javits ... It was a phenomenal accomplishment. Close to a thousand people have gone through Javits. Luckily, we didn't need the 2,500 beds. But all the projections said we did need it and more ... so these were just extraordinary efforts and acts of mobilization, and the federal government stepped up and was a great partner, and I'm the first one to say it. We needed help and they were there."

The only reason Cuomo praised Trump is because he realizes he is dealing with an egomaniac ... he needed PPE and Ventilators, along with help getting more beds ... so he praised Trump to make sure he could get them.

Ignored just like they violence by the peaceful protestors. SMH.

The bottomline....After Cuomo's strategic plan did the numbers of fatalities/ cases come down dramatically?  Yes or No????
