Imagine how hard it was for Kaepernick...yet he started a whole movement.

Yea right after he got benched. Wishing happy birthday to a Cop killer. Praising Castro. He's a real hero.

Kaepernick brought more focus on a serious problem in the country.  He paid a big price for standing up for his beliefs...not something many people would do.  Now millions around the world follow his lead.

Paid a big price. Spare me. He lost his job because of his deterioting play. He got paid millions from Nike and the NFL paid him millions to stay home .  What a racist country.

He pushed a factual proven false narrative. He's no hero except to the gullable.

Kaepernick was motivated to protest by the deaths of African-Americans at the hands of the police or while in police custody.  Are you saying that was a false narrative?

That's a big assumption to use the word sheep without hearing what those players have to say. The young man has right to stand if he wants to. He says that he doesn't kneel unless it's to God. But he seems to also think that the statement Black Lives Matter has to do with the group that goes by the same name.

He was criticized before he made those comments.

I'm not calling anyone a hero, he made some stupid comments. But come on Yank, even with the money he made he still lost his career. There's no way that there were a total of 64 Quarterbacks in the NFL that were all better than Kaepernick.

Like most extremists, he just had to take it too far. Wearing the Pig socks did it for me. Max can at least say he made stupid comments but other posters would justify anything done or said by those that espouse their values. Of course as I have continued to say that goes for etremists on both sides. No retreat, no surrender, never wrong about anything. Come to think of it, kind of like Trump

Max, imo he lost enough juice to not make him worthwhile or that much better then the 64 QB's in the league. Just not worth the trouble he brought with him
