What may have been lost in that HR barrage is that Luke is making a case for himself to be in the running for AM League MVP, or at least finishing in the top three. If he can get his average up around .300 he would have an even better chance. The rest of his numbers are worthy for sure. Whats funny is he may not even be the Yankees MVP if DJ keeps it up. LOL.. What a season those two are having.

I was just going to say, DJ gives Voit a run for his money when it comes to MVP

Oh absolutely he does. I just hope Luke's foot holds up. Every once in awhile I see him favoring it. Probably why he is hitting all those homeruns so he doesn't have to run. LOL.. Good to see Stanton join that party, his smile made my TV get brighter. I'm not his biggest fan but that made me feel glad for him. If he gets going no one is beating these guys as long as our pitching holds up.

Baltimore and the Rays are tie 6 6 top of the 5th. I'm greedy I have the Yankees sights set on the Rays next. Hot as the Yankees are if the Ray's cool off it is not impossible for us to catch them and either tie or take over 1st for the division.

That would be great ... but the Rays would have to start losing.

Yes, and they just went ahead of the Birds 10 6. They are tough so it would be a big hill to climb. I'm sure we will see them again n the playoffs at some point, we will have our chance with them.

Luuuke with number 21! Finally one bright spot in a miserable game. Hopefully these guys get back on track tomorrow up in Buffalo.

I don't celebrate homeruns in blowouts ... I'm a Yankee fan first.

I loved that about Donnie Baseball.  When Mattingly broke the record for consecutive games with home runs the Yankees lost.  The reporters wanted to ask him about the record and I will paraphrase.  He said something like we lost today there isn't anything to celebrate.
