It's possible he's already pitched his last game in pinstripes.

I wouldn't be opposed to an incentive-laden one-year "bouce back" kind of deal for him in the off-season, but I think it's more likely he won't be back.

yup he's pretty much done for the season (post). not thinking past DJLM being a must sign at this point. hopefully a long and productive post-season await us.

Let him walk. He is always getting injured, and it sounds like he is a step away from TJ surgery.

Yep, for sure his last pitch with NYY. He was good when healthy, which wasn't very often.

In terms of impending Yankee FAs I would much rather they try to resign Tanaka.

Paxton can be VERY good when healthy, which, obviousp;ly, he often is not.  He is probabkly lookign at a one year deal to prove he can stay healthy and wil not need TJS.  A one year contract with a low base salary and significant incentives for, say, 20, 25 and 30 starts would be low riski, high reward for the Yankees.

I am sure Boras will get him a good 1 year deal.

Yanks should have with Paxton's long injury history to begin with.

Not that I would have said not to make the trade when they did, but Justus Sheffield is starting to do pretty well now with the Ms.
