Can't just "go around them".  Need 60 votes in the Senate.

Not with reconciliation you don't.

Breaking news...Biden commits to $1400 stimulus checks in calls to Congressional Dems.

Breaking news ... Biden commits to a Trump Administration plan in calls to Congressional Dems.

That was the democrats plan all along which Trump decided to support at the last minute. Probably because he thought that might help him get reelected.

Actually, that was NOT the Democrats' plan.  The Democrat plan was for $1200 again while some outliers like Bernie called for $2000.  Get your facts straight.  The rank and file Democrats jumped on board once Trump announced it.

Is it really that difficult for you to say that Trump did good things during his administration.  I remember how hard it was for Nancy to finally give her support for the USMCA.

LOL! You of all people telling anyone to get their facts straight is a laugh. Get lost.

Good job trying to attack my character rather than the content.  It's a common tool used by people who are wrong.

I'm not wrong, but believe what you want. As I explained months ago, I won't waste too much of my time trying to convince or explain why Trump supporters are incorrect. People can count on one hand and have fingers left over if they counted any good things that Trump did in his 4 years in office. In my opinion, he was the worst, dumbest, most corrupt, unAmerican POTUS in US history by a country mile.

Yeah, Newinn is a good poster. I also miss reading posts by Cy Whitey and 61. I hope that they are all well.

A lot of interesting people have stopped by the basement over the years. I have enjoyed reading their posts, even some of the ones I disagreed with.

There also seems to be no shortage of smarty-pants goofballs, know-it-alls and conspiracy theorists who shared their warped opinions down here and ran away in shame when proven wrong like meachem.
