It is akin to trying to reason with a drunk. It is impossible.

But at least a drunk is back to normal after sleeping it off.

I overheard Ms Quiz talking to my SIL yesterday. I hear my wife say "you will not get vaccinated?" My SIL believes that the Ds and Gates put chips in the vaccine to alter the DNA of the elderly to eventually kill them off! Que the Twilight Zone theme.

And she was the straight one who was the perfect daughter in the perfect marriage unlike her hippy sister. She married a Wall Streeter, voted R and lived the life of luxury until she found out about his cheating with a famous TV personalities wife. Meanwhile, my free-spirited wife brings this long haired, unemployed drummer home to dinner and here we are almost 50 years later.

I brought home an unemployed long haired guy too ... it's going to be 40 years ... a good woman can work miracles.

Hahaha, that is pretty much what my mom and MIL said "Ms Quiz made me the man I am today!"

I always get the credit from my MIL and FIL.  But I'm reaping the benefits ... been sick for a very long time and my husband takes care of me better than I could take care of myself ... he's a wonderful man.  Glad Ms.  Quiz has a good man too.

My wife the best woman I have ever known, she always told me it takes two to make a great marriage, and she always said it takes two opposites too become one great couple, well I think she knew something from day one, we've been married for 56 years...

40 years of marriage is a long time. 56 is unreal. My parents 70th is coming up.

We are so fortunate that we have faithful spouses and solid marriages.

Trust me 56 years went by like it was 10... Lots of ups and downs, many a time didn't think we'd get through some of the things, but as I look back I really can't think of a thing we'd change... One of the jokes I always tell people when they tell us you sure don't look like you've been married that long, I always tell them we got married when we were 12...Wink

Very surprising to find so many of us in one place who have been married a long time with no divorces ... maybe it has something to do with being Yankee fans ... LOL
