Besides everyone staying on the field, if that is accomplished within reason, my pick to click for this offense is a guy I have been on since he got here. That is Stanton. Seeing his post season tear through California, and him looking healthy and his showing to date in ST. With his unorthodox, questionable swing aside, the guy is going to be a one man wrecking crew IMO.
I admit I have not been a fan of his, and I don't think his contract is all that smart, and I sure do not think he has done much for this team, aside from his amazing performance in a stadium he owns, in San Diego. Not for his kind of paychecks he hasn't. However I see that all changing.
Most of his poor production was due to his IL stints, IMO, coming from his muscle work out routine, but the guy looks like he hasn't missed a beat since San Diego. Maybe he is Sampson because he has his freak **** flying with that hair-do blow out, lol...but he looks really good and confident and in great shape so I give him the title "key to the offense." His ST so far has been on point. If he does what I think he will do, man, this is going to be a great season.
If his Amigo Sanchez gets it going, and Voit does his usual damage, and Judge stays healthy and those guys all click together well, murders row will be back! I look for that to happen, just sayin'. Our Pitching so far in ST, has been more good than bad especially from the guys we are counting on. And there have been a few pitching surprised and Monty looks like his hangin' with Cole has paid off. I'm excited to see this season get going.
