neyankfan Post 1. Michael, I watched the 2nd Yankee debacle last night and was probably more disturbed of the fact that the YES Network announcers were over talking the entire Jeter Award ceremony. They've been talking all year about all the accolades Jeter will probably receive this year and then they steal the moment by showing the Yankee line-up which can be done at any other time during the game and how lousy CC Sabathia pitched like a true Yankee fan did not already know that! The Yes play-by-play announcers ought to take the opportunity to know when to shut up! Like many of you I've watched Jeter play for the last 20 years and like to see him justly awarded without announcers over talking the presentations. Let's all enjoy this special moment and season together! NEYANKFAN

Michael in 1961 World Series the Yankees defeated the Reds in 5 games. They split at home and won three at Cincinatti. How come you always describe the 1961 as a Yankees sweep in every old timers day?

Watch Yankees on MLB channel and love listening to YES only with M. Kay, love listening to a native NY who knows his stuff. Hate having to listen to so-called announcers who mix up stats and confuse history. Michael has a good repoire with players and is respected. See Ya!

Center Stage is great interview show. You are an excellent interviewer, the best one in TV in my opinion. Certainly a rival to Costas. I like the way you get the guests to relax and talk frankly about their lives. And you almost always ask the questions I want to ask! I also like you very much as a sports announcer... loose, interesting, informative style. The only thing more I could ask is that you turn off your two color/tech mates when they go one into deep - looooong - discussions of pitching. There is more to the game than pitching. Break 'em up a little will you? A bit of pitching lore is exciting, but I don't need searingly deep, power analyses of pitching. I suppose I should contact your producer about that, not you. After all what can you say? If I knew who the producer is and how to reach him.
