I missed Michael Kay when he was on vacation, so much so that I have to say that in uninteresting games I turned off the Yankees because it was boring- sorry to David Cone and Ken Singleton. I enjoy listening to MK as much as I enjoy watching the Yankees. He is entertaining, funny, and informative. And when he's on with Paul O'Neil. It's like listening to a comedy show.

Michael Kay just said in the second inning of today's Yankee broadcast that Andruw Jones is the second largest Dodger creditor (behind Manny). Not quite. He is the second largest UNSECURED creditor (behind Ramirez) which means if McCord's bankruptcy filing for the Dodgers is successful those two may not have to be paid what they are owed. Watch carefully Bobby Bonilla!

I have been watching baseball for 60 years so I am not a youngster, I want to know when someone is going to tell Joba to get a hair cut, his long hair is not the Yankee way. If the boss was alive he would have been told a long time ago. Who job is it to tell him, and I wish that person would do his or her job.

Hi Michael: I AM A LONGTIME YANKEE FAN AND ALSO A HUGE FAN OF YOU AND YOUR OTHER ANNOUNCERS. TONIGHT WHILE WATCHING THE YANKEE-ORIOLES GAME WHEN MATT REYNOLDS WAS STRUCK OUT BY JOBA CHAMBERLAIN, YOU SAID THAT STRIKE THREE CAUGHT THE "BLACK". AS A 40-YEAR UMPIRE, THEY ARE NOT USING THE BLACK BORDERS AROUND THE PLATE ANYMORE. SO THE CALL CAN BE VERY SIMPLY,"THAT PITCH CAUGHT THE EDGE OF THE PLATE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND BRING HOME ANOTHER WIN TONIGHT. RAY VALLIERE SR. MANCHESTER, NH

Michael, When the Yankees pulled out the first game in TX, on the air you said it is all over! I do not think that remark was called for. I feel you jinxed the Yankees, as you know they lost the second game.

Stop telling us how great Homer Bush was as a pinch-runner in 1998. He stole 3 bases and was caught 3 times - a poor exchange. Overall, he stole 6 out of 9 that year - still subpar.

Hey Michael Kay, I really just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your broadcast, espeically with Paul O'Neill and Ken Singleton. I certainly can do without Al Leiter, he always seems to be nasty to you and out to prove a point. Not a big fan of Leiter's. Keep up the great work Michael. Danielle
