Next Year's Team

I'm not sure if firing Rich Eiland is going to solve the weak pitching in the playoffs.  After all, Rich isn't pitching the baseball at all.  He doesn't control the release or speed of the ball.  He doesn't control AJ Burnett's wild ptiches either.  The best move for the Yankees would've been, firing Burnett instead.

The coaches just assist in the guidance of the players.  They don't play the game.  Even if a coach makes decision on a particular approach......he doesn't play the game.  It's in the hands of the playeres.

    FREDDY SEZ

    Thursday, October 21, 2010, 10:43 PM [General]

It's sad to see that a true fan of the Yankees has passed.  Every game I went to at the stadium, there was Freddie.  He was one of a kind fan and a fixture at the stadium.  I would hope that the Steinbrenners identify him in some way or form.

    Freddy will be missed.

    YANKEES HAVE COME TOGETHER!!!

    Friday, October 15, 2010, 1:07 PM [General]

    YANKEE FANS OF ALL AGES!!!

The Yankees have finally come together!  Last month has been off and on with the Bronx Bombers.  They have given several of the starters a day off here and there.  Now that the playoffs are at full speed, all the rest and recooperation for the players is evident.  The sweep of the Twins has proven that.

The Rangers surpassed the Rays, but only after the Rays gave them a fight to the final game of their series.  I was happy to see that the Rangers won their first playoff series in the history of their team.  I'm not going to feel bad with the Yankees get the broom out again though.  It's time close this series out and get ready to put a whoopin' on the NL team.  Doesn't really matter which one it is, because the YANKEES are not slowing down.

    Give me your opinions everyone!!!!!!

    BURNETT

    Friday, October 15, 2010, 9:26 AM [General]

I can't believe that AJ Burnett is going to start game 4.  He has done nothing but lose most of his games over the last month and a half.  It disgusts me to see him smirking in the dugout when he can't pitch.

He even hit two Yankees in a team scrimmage.  The only way the AJ Burnette should pitch is if he pitches game 5 and the Yankees beat the Rangers in 4.

Trade him!!!  He doesn't belong on the Yankee Roster.
