The Yankees will play their eighth Grapefruit League game this spring on Saturday afternoon against the Braves,
The two teams faced off Friday, with the Yanks snapping a four-game losing streak in a 3-0 shutout victory at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Fla. Freddy Garcia notched his first win of the spring after allowing one hit and one walk in three scoreless innings. Eight different Yankees recorded a hit off Braves pitching. Derek Jeter helped lead the way after going 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored.
Michael Pineda will make his second spring start today. The 6-foot-7 right-hander pitched two scoreless innings in his Grapefruit League debut Monday against the Phillies.
