Is Michael Kay for real? What is it and his totally ****ic statements during the Yankees/Rangers broadcast?
For instance: “Yes, there’s a nice happy ending to that story, somebody saw the kid crying, somebody from the Ranger dugout, they tossed him a ball -- look at that grin,” as well as “And look at the greedy people next to him, just oblivious, ‘Oh, let’s make out while he has the ball, but we’ve got our ball.’ Unbelievable. At least the kid has a nice smile on his face now. And those people are oblivious -- oblivious. Oh my goodness, a little tone deaf there.”
Is it me, or does he consistantly shoot off his mouth, without giving anything he says great thought first?
I'm no fan of Michael Kay. His broacasting style leaves a lot to be desired, does a terrible job of calling a Yankee game, and he is of no relevence since he began calling the Yankee Games.
He may be a fine sports beat reporter, and perhaps he should go back to what he's good at.
