Having a strong heart and passion is the key to success in whatever it is you do!
If I had to describe myself in five words it would be hard-working, passionate, highly-motivated, professional, and dedicated. I love people and helping them to become better both personally and professionally. I have served in the Air Force now for 19 years beginning as an enlisted Weather Forecaster, and now as an Air Force Officer/Meteorologist and have learned to become a better leader, meteorologist, and individual. Ever since I was 5 years old, I always wanted to be a Meteorologist, so its a passion that has never left me. I am a believer that you have to have a passion for what you do in life to be good at it, and if you know you are worth something, take that passion and go out and get what you are worth! Don't let somebody tell you that you can't do something because they think you can't. That's BS!!! You control your life and nobody knows your capabilities and potential better than you. I believe that family and friends are the most important people in your life. Life can kick your ass all over if you let it, but you have to find a way to keep moving forward while taking the hits. You will deal with adversity in life and there is nothing you can do to stop it. How you respond to that adversity is what makes you successful or not. Friends will help you do this too, so don't loose them or piss them off! I am very competitive in nature and believe that you have to keep that "edge" somewhat to be sucessful in what you do. Sometimes you have to be better than the guy/gal sitting next to you, its' that simple!
I love Baseball!! At some point, next spring I would like to get into coaching at the youth level and get back into the game. I love the Yankees and enjoy the greatest game ever invented.
New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Steelers
Current Active MLB Players: Derek Jeter, Nick Swisher, Alex Rodriguez, Andy Pettite
Former/Retired MLB Players: Jorge Posada, Tino Martinez, Paul Oneil, David Cone, Orel Hershiser, Don Mattingly, Kirby Puckett.....I will keep updating this list.
Favorite Sports Memory:
Watching Derek Jeter get his 3000 hit off of David Price! I watched the game from Korea on YES and couldn't sleep the whole night.
Least Favorite Teams:
Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys specifically, but honestly just about anytime that is facing the Yankees or Steelers at the given moment.
Favorite TV Shows:
Mash, Growing Pains, Who's the Boss, being in Korea its hard to keep up with the latest shows these days.
Rocky, I am a huge Rocky fan. When I need some inspiration, I will usually put on Rocky II and watch when Sylvester Stallone is training to fight Carl Weathers the second round. I also enjoy the Lethal Weapon Series.
Baseball, I can't say enough about what the game means to me. Outside of my work with the Air Force as a Meteorologist, the Yankees and baseball is my life.
