      All the other sports don't matter - they only exist to kill time between the WS and spring training.
      Favorite Players: All the Yankees that played the game right over the years. My earliest memory of a great Yankee was Mantle. Bobby Murcer during the lean years in the 70's. Thurman Munson, Guidry, the entire 78 team. Mattingly, Winfield, Andy, Mo, Jeter, Bernie, Jorge, El Duque, Cone (except that one yr with the Bosox), the Mendoza-Stanton-Nelson trio at it's prime, you know the rest... plus I like the scrappy underdog guys who played it right: Luis Sojo, Scott Brosius, etc.
      Favorite Sports Memory: 78 NYY-Bosox playoff game, Chambliss' HR in NYY-KC playoff, Winfield & Mattingly going 1-2 in BA race, Boone's blast in 2003 , Jeter's flip play against the A's, 2000 Mets Yankees WS, especially game 1, the 2001 B.Y. Kim WS come from behind games, seeing Mo his entire career. Phil Rizzuto: the soundtrack to my youth.
