"...people love Big Papi. Can't get enough of him. But wasn't it obvious his numbers were bogus? Dude used to be a scrub. Then at 27 he suddenly turns into Reggie freakin Jackson? He went from hitting 20 home runs a season to 54! But noone noticed...because David Ortiz didn't look like a juicer. He was to goofy, too soft-lets's be honest-too fat. It was like saying Santa Claus was on juice."

That was from an article in SI about Barry Bonds. But I feel like I've been making that same arguement with my buddies since the 2004 ALCS. Wow I feel suddenly very justified for my stance. Hey nobody's perfect. I mean Manny was bein Manny doin it as well as we now know. That makes the 2 best hitters on the team! Hell alot of prominent Yankees were juicin at the same time too (ie Jason Giambi, Gary Shefield...A-Rod?). It just makes me feel better from when all the Red Sox fans gave us Yankees fans the business about how our team was juicin and there's no way their beloved Red Sox would do that!
