Hey Jack My name is Dennis Szulc, my uncle Kaz grew up with you and my mother Debra Murray used to baby sit you. Sadly my mother passed away yesterday. My father Stanley is a huge Yankee fan and I was wondering if you could say something quickly on a post game show or something. It would really mean a lot to him but I understand if you can't do it. My mother used to tell us all the time about how she baby sat you. If you do get a chance to say something can you please email me at dennis_szulc@yahoo.com so I can make sure my father is watching. Thanks so much. Dennis Szulc

Jack, What Arod did was wrong and he should pay a price if found guilty, as a Student of the game you must find it hard to digest the imperfections of MLB, for instance a local news paper was accusing the Yankee announcers for not going after Arod and his tainted records, that's not their job, the Yankee announcers are there to report lite Yankee News and broadcast the game. I'm sure your aware MLB has had a list for some time now, of over 100 players who tested positive for drugs and has not gone after any of those players, but keep manage to keep ARod's name front and center on the back pages, it's got to be killing the pure baseball fan such as you! The answer to the drug issue is simple, A player should be fined 50 Games The Team a Million Dollars, The union a million dollars and if their are more than 10 players in a Season , disband the union have a  new vote and Fire The Commissioner for not doing his job, that's the best I can do, but I guarantee you it will put an end to drugs! The money goes to whatever Charity! Accountability is a Two Way Street!!!

Jack, I think what A-rod did was wrong and I thing MLB is doing the right thing in cleaning up the game. but in A-Rod's defense I Think MLB messed up by not suspending him in 2010 when he admitted use of enhancing drugs, maybe that would have been a wake up call after losing 50 games and about 12 to 15 million, and this would not be an issue today. That being said why are they giving him 211, days and everyone else 50, he should be given the same as everyone else because he wasn't suspended 2010. but is they want to count 2010, then give 100 days.

Hi Jack, I assume the market for Phil Hughes as a starting pitcher will be a strong one. Do you believe he is invested in remaining a Yankee, or will the biggest deal win him over? Will the Yankees negotiate with Hughes to be the eighth-inning set-up man for Robertson? The past few seasons have proven how valuable the set-up pitcher is (e.g., Soriano) -- would the Yankees consider an aggressive offer to Hughes and would Hughes even consider a bullpen role? His greatest and most consistent success was the year he was in the pen.

Joe's a great manager but it seems that he has been slipping lately on his decision making. 3-8 in the last 11 games and looks like a lopsided loss tonight vs. Baltimore. Is this the Boston Red Sox of 2011? Why did Joe leave Nova in so long. He saw that he had no command and then boom, a grand slam to Davis, who is a notorious for striking out. What are we looking at for the rest of the season? We may be without Texeira for awhile and A-Rod was of no help this year.
