That's probably the general idea. He probably found something that said how much they're interested in him and how we're never gonna trade him but he thinks there's hope so he wants to copy and paste it.

You can paste text. There is an option when you bring up the screen to post a new message or reply. It's two icons to the right of the scissors icon.
