the reality of Eli

This is as good as he will ever be, he'll never get any better. The fact is that QB's should have fire in their eyes, not fear. Eli lacks leadership, he lacks heart, and he lacks desire. Those are three things that successful QB's have. The Giants need to stick to their word, either significant improvement this year or Eli's days are over. There has been no significant improvement in his leadership as he continues to look like a weasel. I guess we should blame Coughlin because of Eli's three delay of games, his two INT's and his lack of desire. The Giants need to trade this wuss or release him and get a new QB in the draft next year. Eli is the biggest bust snce Ryan Leaf as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not a huge fan of football but my dad watches it and I pay attention occasionally (payed a lot of attention today cause I was bored) and Eli didn't look that bad. If the Giants played some defense they could of won that game.

Maybe the main reason I hate Eli is because I am two years younger than him and I was a star QB in high school and college and they were both low key schools. I didn't go for the NFL for two reasons: One I didn't have the money to go to a big school, but the second one hurts more, I didn't think I was NFL material, but in watching Eli, I kick myself. If he made it I easily could've made it.

Well if you're still in good enough shape, it's never to late and try out.

I am still in shape but I love my teaching job. However, my family and friends keep asking me to go try out and I might.

LOL many people who have seen me play think I have the skills and potential to have a successful NFL career, but I'd have to stay in New York/Jersey, my whole life is here. I won't play for any other team outside of NY/NJ. I would have to be guaranteed to stay close to home.
