Also the days of trying to develop Eli are over, he's a lost cause. He will be 27 in January, he should be showing at least a tad of improvement from when he was right out of college, and there hasn't been one tad of improvement. This is his fourth year in the league and he is a below average QB that is average on his best days. Time to draft a new QB and do to Eli what the Jets did to Pennington, big contract or not, move on.

No he won't. And no he isn't off the hook. He has still shown nothing. Today was a game won because of a great defense and Amani making an excellent catch bailing Eli out. I'm not convinced. Trade him for Pennington for all I care, it's a toss up of who's worse.
