Yanks/Pettitte close on deal

This is great news for the Yankees and the fans of New York. He is a HUGE attraction for New York, plus he adds great depth in the rotation.


He was very solid the past several years, sure, he has issues with his elbow, but the guy can pitch. He will be a HUGE addition.

I am on the fence about Pettite. Not my favorite move. Ca$hmoney knows what he is doing though so I'll see how he does.

in the al he wont have to bat so i guess it wont be as taxing on his elbow

thats the only reason why i would be scared of getting Pettitte-.... is he injury prone?... i hope not-.... if he does come back the Yanks should only sign him to a 1 or 2 year deal-... TOPS!!....

as long as pettitte stays healthy its a good deal then i guess
