Channel 7 News is claiming the Yanks will set their eyes on Clemens after they sign Pettitte.
hey, the more pitching the better..I have absolutely no faith in randy johnson or carl pavano...and we have no idea what to expect from igawa
No faith in Randy 17 wins per year Johnson?
his first year was solid until he blew it in the playoffs. this year, terrible, the wins were due to the abnormaly high run support, oh and he crapped out in the playoffs..again no faith in his 92mph fastball and flat slider. oh and he just had back surgery, so yes the more pitchers we get the better cause we can't count on him

Jonah, I think you know wins are not the best way to judge pitching. When your ERA is above 5.00, and you blow 2 postseason starts in consecutive years, you cannot be considered trust-worthy. When you take into account his back surgery and being a year older, he is a 5 starter at best

You mean like Andy Pettitte in Game 1 of the 1996 World Series and lost the 2001 World Series for us in Game 6 of the 2001?
i dont know if i want clemens but w.e if we get andy then i'll be happy with the other move
Jonah do you really want him back ?
People have bad games. Pettitte's ERA was 2.80 after the All-Star break. What was Johnson's ERA after the All-Star break? 4.85 Thanks, but I'll take Andy Pettitte any day of the weak. And, you can spare me the AL/NL league difference, since Pettitte pitched in a bandbox.
