They would have a better record then us, sad a team with so many issues and they can find a way to play well while the Yanks continue to win a few then lose a few.

Or is it maybe they are finally getting decent pitching performances from pitchers like Pelfrey and Perez?

Who cares about the Mets? If your going to compare them to us, all i have to say is that the opponents they face are not nearly as tough as the opponents we face.

Not really comparing just saying the Mets are able to score runs the Yanks should be able to.

Why are you starting a thread about the Mets on a Yankees message board anyway? Do the Mets play in the AL? No, they do not play in the AL. Yea, they have a better record, so FREAKING what!!? The Yankees can win 5 in a row after the all star break and the Mutts can lose 5 in a row after the break. Would you start a thread about that? Its all about who wins in the end, and correct me if I'm wrong, but the Mutts haven't won a gosh darn thing in 22 years.

You said the Mets have had their problems..what about the Yankees problems? The Yankees played without Arod, and Posada for about two months, and now Damon, Matsui, Hughes, Kennedy, Bruney, and Albaladejo are all on the DL. With that being said.. the Yankees are only 5 gms in back of the Red Sox on the loss side. The Mets also play in the inferior NL, while the Yanks play in the superior AL

This is the second time that I have read something from you praising the NY Mets. Are you sure you are not a closet Mutts fan??

I don't understand this thread ... why are you pouring salt on the wound? Why make a thread about the Mets doing well right now on a Yankee message board? Some of the things you have written lately ... not voting for Giambi for the All-Star game is one of them ... and a few others I have read ... are quite strange for a Yankee fan ... lately you have people questioning are you a Yankee fan at all ... and not just a Robbie Cano fan ??? I don't like to question anyone's fandom ... but lately you seem to be making the oddest commentary ... it's a difficult season ... but I think you should reassess your priorities as to being a Yankee fan first and foremost. The not voting for Giambi for the All Star game really was hard to take ... actually voting for Longoria ... I'm not a Giambi fan myself ... but I voted like crazy for the guy ... he's a Yankee and he has had a good first half. Now you are making threads like this about the Mets ... like I said ... you really need to reassess your priorities as a Yankee fan.

Excuses, the point is the Yanks are supposed to be a better team then the Yankees and yet the Yanks can;t even beat below .500 teams.
