Had the mets beat us and go 6 - 0 against the Yankees this year they would probaly be in the playoffs.However They won 4 out of 6 from the Yankees , and if it weren't for the Yankees winning the other two in the Subway series this year, mets would be 6 - 0 against the Yanks in the regular season this year and they would probaly be in the playoffs.Mets were 4 - 2 against the yankees and it proved to be not good enough for them and those 2 losses against the Yankees this year that the Mutts had contributes to them not making the playoffs.So thanks Yankees for beating the mutts twice it helped the Mutts to miss the playoffs!
However if we went 6 - 0 against the Mutts this year,and didnt lose 4 out of those 6 games we would probaly still have a chance in the wildcard race, so both teams did a number on each other
