not only did they choke but just imagine being a Met fan! for the past 3 years thier season ended at home in the worst ways... Beltran caught looking with the runs to go to the WS left on base in 2006.... and then the past 2 years as the Met fans sat stunned in their seats as the regular season choke was completed... I love it!!!!

I don't think it was wise of Hamels to insult a team who just signed KRod and traded for Puttz. It's funny, but it could backfire, They Mets have enough motivation no need to add fuel to the fire.

You have to love it. This makes that rivalry all the more interesting. I hate the Phillies, but when they play the Mets, I'm their big fan.
