Did anyone see the Ryan Braun play in the Mets game tonight? He doubled with the bases loaded off Santana. Santos dropped the throw to the plate allowing the third run to score - then no one backed up so Santos had to chase the ball down. Then his throw to third went all the way into deep left field allowing Braun to circle the bases. The way the Mets have been playing, a blooper, comedy of errors play like this was the last thing they needed.

i guess it was all willie randolph's fault ? after the way they treated willie , they can't have enough of a circus over there to suite me ! i'm a NY fan but not for the mets untill omar is gone.

Plus the owners never go the distance. Wilpon really makes you appreciate the Steinbrenner family. What other team would have brought CC, AJ and Tex over in the same season? Yes, the long-suffering Mets' fans are the most annoying on the face of the earth. Many years ago, I would root for the Mets if the Yankees weren't in the World Series. Now, there is no way I would ever root for that team. They're like Boston fans, they spend more time worrying about the Yankees than their own team.

It's just Mets being Mets..... Their team also does not really match with the dimensions of their stadium but it's a step up from Shea for sure.

agree with most of what you say except for the steinbrenners. they are contemptable for destroying the old stadium for nothing more than greed and ego. i wonder if it's a dilema for any other fans, wanting the yanks to win but wanting to see the fans reject the "new house" - barf ! one comforting thought though is the the N.Y.Yankee franchise is bigger, better and will outlast the sleazy steinbrenner bunch. but they certainly have done their damage though.
