My arms feel like they have lead weight in them ... not very conducive to doing any of the above ... I'm hoping it's short-term though ... could be the crazy weather ... weather changes can muck up my lupus from time to time.

Hey Mo, sorry to read that you are not feeling well.  I will keep you in my prayers. These boards will not be the same if you cut back on your posts. And we don't want to ask for someone to pick up the slack in your absence, you never know who might volunteer.  Be well!

The New York  Yankees sell veteran P Stan Williams to the Cleveland Indians

March 30, 1965- The  New York Yankees sell veteran MLB  starter Stan Williams (1963-1964) to  the Cleveland Indians for cash.

Stan  Williams went 10-13 in 50 games for the New York Yankees  after being  obtained from the Dodgers for former AL All Star 1B Bill  “Moose”  Skowron in  the winter of 1962. He never was the successful starter for  the Yankees,  like he was with the Dodgers. Stan would be converted to a  relief  pitcher and be very successful with the Minnesota Twins. He  would later  become a MLB pitching coach for the Yankees.

I was hoping that I was just under the weather, but it seems my health is taking a little turn, and I honestly don't have the strength right now to type much.

So I'm taking a break ... hopefully things will get better soon, but with my health I never know if soon is just a few days or longer.

Here's to our Yankees having a great season in 2011.

(Moderators, it probably would be best to unpin this thread, unless someone else steps up to keep it moving along.)

Mo I received two bad news today and yours make three.  One friend lost a husband and another lost her father. I was walking around with a heavy heart and now I see your post....Cry I hope you feel better!!  Take care we'll keep the fire burning upon your return .....which I know will be shortly!!!

Of late my work doesn't allow for much time to post, it has been overwhelming to say the least. I try checking/posting here via smartphone on my way to and from work.  Most times I'm so tired when I get home. I fall asleep in front of the tv as I watch some sporting event.

I'm taking a much needed day off and will surely enjoy watching our Yankees.  I know if I went to work, I'll be too drained to even watch the rebroadcast in the evenings. In the days ahead I'm going to make every attempts to leave earlier to catch the games.

Lets hope our Yankees give us something to cheer about.....my prays are with you.

Go Yankees....

I'll try to post a few times here or there, but I honestly just don't have the strength in my arms to click the mouse all that much and keep posting ... so I thought it was best to let this thread go and make room for something new ... maybe you want to open up a new thread lauren yourself ... you are really good at bringing the news to the forum.

Even though I won't be around as much for a while, you can be certain that I'll be watching the games and rooting for our Yankees.

All my best to you, and thanks for the prayers.
