So far Lupica is more right than he is wrong. The Wilpons are on the hook for at maximum $83M which is a far cry from the $1B that Picard was trying to get. The judge is letting the trial go forward but has pretty much implied that Picard will have a difficult time proving that the Wilpons are liable for any more.

That's "innocent"? How is Lupica right? He claimed that the Wilpons are poor rich men who are innocent of any and all wrongdoing. PS. Could go up to $300M. Whatever the case, 1. The Wilpons are reportedly going to do the biggest payroll slash in baseball history 2. There are calls for the Wilpons to be removed as owners 3. Lupica has nothing to say about it anymore.

True to your statement, Lupica has been silent with anything Wilpon.

You can bet if this was the Yankee ownership he'd be blasting them everyday. Since he's a Mets fan he's very quiet. How do you spell hypocrite?
"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."

You're being kind, I can think of a lot of things to describe him, but I would be banned if I used them.
