Yesterday... along with all the other guys who were not going to make the team this spring. And not because he couldn't control his pitches, but because that was likely the plan all along.

Why are you focusing only on his exit? The plan was in the making for group players to leave for minor league ball. With the amount of pitchers Yankees incurred, were you actually expecting Banuelos to be in the starting rotation????

Just stop.. I'm sure it was no surprise to him. No reason it should surprise you. Each year brings a different set of circumstances, and there was no room this year. He needs a full year at AAA, and he's going to get it. He knows it, you know it and everyone else here knows it.
