I know most will not believe this, but my neighbor/friend works for the Yankees and she said that the MRI showed some sort of damage to Pineda's shoulder and will mostly require surgery or prolonged rest/therapy.  The news will be out soon, so if you doubt what I wrote, just wait and see. Sorry guys, but Pineda will never be the same. He still might have a career, but expect 91-93mph if he's lucky

Seriously? My cousin works for the Yankees too and he said Pineda might be hurt or he might be fine. Hell my cousin even still talks to George Steinbrenner on Saturday mornings. They were real close in life and he has a special voodoo witch that can talk to the dead. Cashman pays her salary. THANKS FOR THE INFO!!!

It's a torn labrum. Surgery is required. He's done for atleast the year. There is no guarantee he will ever be the same when he finally does recover.
