....Mo will be out for the season....

Girardi: Rivera ‘appears’ to have a torn ACL

By

Girardi said he would sleep on who will take over as closer. "We have two guys that are very capable."

Torn ACL diagnosis for Rivera

The early diagnosis for Mariano Rivera is a torn ACL. He will be checked again in New York, but this almost certainly means hes out for the season.

Seriously? The way this team is playing, they wouldn't be needing him anyway. I don't see them actually LEADING many games any time soon.

This team is done hate to say it. The last person on this team you want to see get injured is most likely done for the season and might be done for good. Plus outside of one or two hitters they only know how to his 500 foot home runs which is not how you play baseball in 2012.

Seriously, shut the heck up for one night AJ. You know, screw the RISP fail by Cano and Tex,the Royals winning a game at home (which was probably going to happen on our watch anyway, just the way averages work) and take a moment to think about this.
The man who has shown class for us for 17 years, who has closed four World Series championships  and won five, always bounced back from losses is most likely finished and not on his own terms.

A man who has always represented the Yankees, baseball and himself with class is going to be forced into early retirement. And all you can do is whine. Seriously, shut your mouth.

Sorry, this is absolutely ridiculous. Mariano running around like a kamikaze **** during BP just about takes the cake for me.  No excuse for it.

I'm a sicko because I said the team won't be winning many games?

You can say that, and will probably get a pat on the back for it. I wasn't insulting Mo, but some people here are too stupid to understand that.
