Hi everyone!!
I've been MIA for a while and living in Orlando doesn't help. Can someone tell me why if the Yankees are the AL champs they're starting in Baltimore?

Because M.L.B. decided to add the second wild card team and the playoff between them so soon before the season started. By waiting so long they ran into the problem of not being able to schedule the off days you get in a normal 5 game series where the higher seed gets 2 home games then 2 away games then 1 home game. The higher seed does still get the 3 home games but to eliminate an off day its now 2 away then 3 at home. The schedule returns to normal in the next round with the higher seed starting at home for 2 and having the final 2 at home if necessary also.
