Good move...Sign Hunter 2/20MM for RF and bring back Ichiro for LF.

See what you can get for Granderson and let Gardner play CF.

Are you going for the oldest team in baseball history?

So be it but it would be a competitive team.

Young doesn't necessarily mean better.

Face it..Swisher is gone...

For 2 years, probably not, one year at $12 - $15 mil in a heartbeat

Swisher 1202, .272/24/93, .837 OPS, 144 runs produced

Hunter 2012, .313/16/92, .817 OPS, 157 runs produced

Ichiro in 67 games as a Yankee, .322/5/27, .794 OPS, 62 runs produced.  Prorated over 148 games (the number Swisher played) he would hit 11 HRs, get 60 RBIs and produce 111 runs.  I doubt anybody thinks he would hit .322 over a full season, though I do think he could hit more than 11 HRs at the expense of some BA.

For my money, Hunter is the clear choice if you can get him on one year contract, even at age 38.  For what it is worth, it looks like Hunter has never played in the post season???
