Another good signing by Lou. I'm kinda shocked that the NYR didn't re-sign him. I expect them now to make a big splash.

And now I just read that Kovalchuk is skating away from 12 years and 77 quite large.


He's probably going to play in Mother Russia.

Reports out of Russia is Kovalchuk will sign a $20 mil a year contract with SKA St Petersburg the team he played for during the lock out.

You can't blame the guy for being homesick. Plus this makes it easier for the Rangers when they play the Horned Ones!


I'm curious to see how the Devils divide the ice time between the two goalies. Marty is still effective and healthy and Schneider is in his prime.

The 41 year old Jagr is now a Devil. This guy was always skated in the shadow of Lemieux even though he was every bit as good. You couldn't knock him off the puck in his prime.
