Love Al Leiter; for me he and Flaherty are the two best analysts we have.

Same here.

Sometime he gets a little over the top but on the whole, I think he's very entertaining and I agree with most here, Kay, Kenny and Paul make the best team in the booth

That's the team I enjoy the most.

O'Neill has a bit of Rizzuto in him in that he's just a guy watching a game...  I always loved Rizutto's randomness - how he would just bring up something not even related to the game.  In the late 70's Doyle Alexander had a perfect game into the 8th, Rizzuto took that game off for his anniversary...  when he came back he was commenting that him and Cora were eating ice cream cones and listening to the game and when the perfect game was broken he crushed his cone in his hand, so the guy takes the game off but still listens to it on the radio!   how's that for a true Yankee!

Heaven for me is Rizzuto, Messer and White doing all Yankee games...  I liked when they did the rotation between TV and the radio booth, each rotated into radio for 3 innings and the other 2 did TV...

Yep, the good ole days. I liked PR so much that I would shut the volume on the TV and listen to him when he went on the radio.

I remember a game that the Scooter and White were doing and Rich Coggins was called to pinch hit for the Yanks. Rizzuto thought it was Bobby Bonds. So White corrected him and the Scooter told White all you black guys look a like. I couldn't belive he said that.White couldn't stop laughing the whole game. Only he could get away with that.

Also the cow knocking him over on Phil Rizzuto day was another classic.

that was classic - the funniest is that famous clip that YES shows every now and then when Rizzuto comes on the air and says - "I'm Bill White"

Art,

I remember during the 1969 season Scooter,Messner, Coleman Ford  had named a All Time Yankee team and they  forgot to name Babe Ruth to the team! The sports media had a blast with those huckleberries!

I remember one Rizzuto call that was hilarious. The batter hits a high pop up to the shortstop, and while the ball is in the air he sends out birthday wishes to somone.

The Yankees don't have a true play-by-play guy besides Kay, as much as I don't like him.  I think Singleton is a great analyst but only marginal in p-b-p.  Leiter is one of the best pitching analysts out there and Cone is pretty darn good too.  I like how Cone does his homework for games; you don't often see that with retired players.

O'Neill is quite possibly the worst announcer I've ever heard doing Yankee games.  He brings absolutely nothing to the broadcast.  Even his comic relief is not so funny.

I really wish we could go back to the days of MSG.  Staats and Kubek were the best pair I've ever heard doing games.
