Cashman had done a great job this offseason, but i think he messed up with not giving Infante the extra year.

Maybe he thought the last thing we needed was another infant at second base to replace the departing one.

Im  beginning to get nervous, the starting pitching needs to be addressed, then I read Tanaka might not be available and Yanks have 3  starting pitchers: CC diminishing, Kuroda melted second half, and then Nova.  Holes in the Pen and no 2nd Baseman, we have no clue about A Rod.

The H brothers will have to keep on spending and might have to spend a lot for a mediocre pitcher because our Farm su............ks and we have no trade chip but Gardner.

Does anyone here thinks Yanks outght to check Arroyo?

I do ....i dont understand this messing around waiting for Tanaka ..Cashman needs a solid starter for # 4 and innings eater for # 5 ,,he has neither and far as im concerned im not convinced Kuroda wont fall apart this season either ..IN fact ..i think the Yankees should be in on Garza ...and im reading they are not even warm there ....Arroyo would fit both critera ... he eats innings and is a solid starter ...plus he know how to pitch ..he is not perfect by any stretch he gets hit ..but he is dependable IMO ..either way the Yankees should be moving along and not hinge their HOPES Tanaka gets posted , and then who even knows if he wants to pitch in NY ... not everyone wants to play here...just ask Cano or Infante ....

"it's when the Yankees score eight runs in the first inning .....and then slowly pull away"
Yankees owner Jacob Ruppert , on a perfect afternoon at Yankee Stadium.

I'm coming to grips with the idea the Yankees are indeed going to try and stay under that $189 figure.. The more I think about it the more I like the idea, there are some holes on this team but if they get below the number they are shooting for they then can spend like a drunken sailor and make this team a true competitor in 2015 ???

This was a clear panic move by the Royals...
