Boy, that a lot of Dough!
A lot he probably has the second highet AAV on the team since we're not including A-rod.
But they needed him badly. Will we ever see the day they can just turn to there young studs instead on spending big money on someone else.
Hopefully that day is near with Pineda and Banuelos.

Right after the Tanaka signing, 20 more free agents are blowing up Casey Closes phone asking for his services!

It would be nice to see their farm system produce some at least middle of the rotation starters. Nova is progressing there but who knows. I need to see another year from him. Also, seeing something out of Pineda would be nice too. That's two cheap starting rotation guys that could go a long way of being cheap and hopefully guys we can get excited about in the coming seasons.
Hopefully we can get excited about those guys coming up. The Yankees have been at it for 9 yrs now. It's time to show and prove.
To anyone going through a difficult time right now remember someone always has it worse.

for that kind of dough we should know in the first 3 starts if he's the real deal or a bust... if he has to take a few years to 'learn the league' then the Yanks threw away a lot of money... Buuuut..... that all being said if this is the Yanks way of saying that they are back to the 'spend no matter what' days then hell, why not sign the guy... hell, sign Garza and really tighten up the staff as long as we are writing blank checks...

The YANKEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS WIN!!!!!!!

The icing on this cake, that if they stay healthy, Yanks easily are a fav. for the WS.
Hopefully Tanaka is the real thing.

Just praying he's as good as everyone seems to think he is ... I never quite got over Igawa!

thats exactly correct ..the last home grown starter was Andy ...also time for Baunelos, he should compete for at the very least a pen slot ..i would like to see more of Nuno also ..those Friggin injuries :-(
"it's when the Yankees score eight runs in the first inning .....and then slowly pull away" Yankees owner Jacob Ruppert , on a perfect afternoon at Yankee Stadium.

That Igawa signing knocked the wind out of the Yankees and It's probably the reason why they didn't go all in on Darvish.

I'm not expecting much when it come to Pineda. Anything he contributes would be a plus.
