It has been a very rough month as my father has been hospitalized since 8/4. I was able to get to NYC the next morning where I was met with doctors of all stripes ready to cover him in dirt.
Anointing of the sick was performed the first evening I was there (8/5) and with prayers from as far away as nuns near the Vatican to Los Angeles my father was stable enough to be downgraded to less critical ICU unit.
It has been a difficult 3 weeks and sometimes my father would be upset that the hospital TV did not carry YES so he could watch the Yankees (he watches all the time).
I had to fly out of NY to CA for another family emergency and will return on the redeye this evening.
I spoke with the doctors and in the last 24 hours his internal bleeding has come back (he is too weak for any major procedure to find the bleeding) and his blood pressure has dropped. I am trying to get an earlier flight to get back to his bedside, but if some of you here can keep him your prayers I would be grateful.
His name is Michael.
Thank you.

I said a prayer for you and your Dad right before I posted this message. What you are going through gave me flashbacks as I was in your shoes with my Dad not too long ago in a very, very, very similar situation. Stay strong and talk to God.
