Hi Tony ... good to see you around.

Hi Mo, how are you. Out of site, but not out of mind. Seems my account got all messed up. Been trying to update and edit it, but it turned out to be a mess, so I had to opened up a new account.

But even if I come on the boards once a year, as long as I get to say hello to you, all is great.Wink

Ng may be very qualified, and I would have no problem with the Yankees hiring female, Asian, black, hispanic, or green GM. As long as it is because they are the best available, not to make a statement.

It doesn't matter who's the GM as long as Hal and Levine are here. They set policy, not the GM. What they say goes, and neither are baseball guys. That's the problem in a nutshell. They have non-baseball guys making baseball decisions. Cashman or any other GM does not have last say in it.

He kept his job becase Hal is not a baseball guy and wouldn't have the first clue where to find a replacement.

Maybe he's got a manila envelope with questionable photos in it of you know who, doing you know what, with a certain type of somebody, in a lockbox fore safe keeping and to keep his job until you know who, who did you know what, with a certain type of somebody, is no longer around.
