Starting with PEDs - was bad, highest profile of an epidemic in the sport the Bronson Arroyo ball slap - pathetic, done out of frustration but Hrbek was a hero in Minnesota for pulling Ron Gant off the bag walking across the mound against the A’s - that's not really a thing, Dallas Braden is just mentally ill the HAH! Against the Rays - that was clever, don't see a thing wrong with it the kissing the mirror picture - certainly not my style the baseball with the note on it to the female fan - this possed me off, the other stuff could be viewed as part of his desire to win or off the field out with a stripper while still married - afraid affairs are more pervasive than doping, not interested in their personal life

Geez bomber ... judge much? I understand a baseball fan not liking cheating ... but you apparently have a dislike for him way beyond his cheating ... and I think you are judging him harshly.
I don't like the cheating and I have never liked Arod. These are a few of the many things that contribute to my dislike for him. There are many who will agree with you that I am judging him harshly. I was responding to Louisiana who asked why I don't like him, I'm not wishing him any harm.

I understand ... just think we don't know all the pieces to the man ... and what causes him to do such questionable things ... so I don't want to judge him personally as far as every little thing he did in life ... but I hate the cheating ... and he was well advised not to cheat, but chose to do it anyway ... but as far as his cheating on his wife, I heard somewhere that she was cheating on him also ... some of these people with so much money do a lot of things you and I would not do.

Mo, I am not saying whether he or his wife were at fault, or both. I think of the public nature of his "indiscretion" and the effect on his kids. But you are right, to lump his marital cheating in with this might be getting a bit too critical. I had the same argument downstairs once, about Bill Clinton and how I couldn't vote for someone who couldn't even be trusted by his wife. They said, they could separate the man from the candidate.

I think it might be even harder in the latter ... because to me integrity is much more important when someone is going to be President, than when someone is hitting a baseball. Getting back to A-Rod ... he's an embarrassment to have in pinstripes at this point ... and I so wish we didn't have to deal with the circus that is going to be around when he is around ... I'm so for them paying him to stay away ... I'm wondering if they are trying first to get from underneath those special bonuses for hitting homeruns ... if they can get away from paying those, then maybe they would have a better shot at just paying him to stay away.

Paying him to stay away is not an option. They can pay him and leave him on the bench or they can pay and DFA him so he could go and negotiate new terms with a rival. No team can pay a guy to stay home.
